Seeking Campus Compact AmeriCorps Summer Sites

Iowa Campus Compact is offering a unique, one-time opportunity to Iowa nonprofits to host an AmeriCorps member in Summer 2019. Campus Compact AmeriCorps summer members will serve 300 hours over the summer to improve organization’s capacity. This can include reaching new clients, developing new partnerships, improving operations or processes, or other activities that build capcity to advance the agency’s mission. Campus Compact provides the agency with a 300 hour AmeriCorps position that can serve either 3 months or 5 months. This is not cost or match required for this summer. Sites will need to recruit members with support from our team and higher education partners.

Organization applications must be submitted using the online form. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis with a final deadline of 11:59 PM CST 5/31/19.

Use Campus Compact AmeriCorps to tackle backburner projects

Iowa nonprofits can use Campus Compact AmeriCorps members to complete projects that can improve a nonprofit’s capacity to serve their community. Campus Compact AmeriCorps positions can indirect support the mission of your nonprofit by developing new or existing programs, creating outreach materials, recruiting and managing volunteers, researching policy or best practices, among other projects.
