Fall 2017 Virtual Learning and Connection Opportunities

August 23, 2017

In 2017, Iowa and Minnesota Campus Compact are pairing up to offer member staff, faculty, students, and community partners more opportunities to connect across the region using web video conference technology. These meetings will be engaging and interactive and offer the opportunity to meet new people, make connections, and get new ideas and resources. We will offer monthly meetings on topics relevant to a variety of community engagement priorities as well as affinity group calls once a semester for people at similar campus types to discuss common challenges and opportunities.

Minnesota Campus Compact will facilitate the affinity group calls for two-year colleges, state universities, and private institutions. She will work with those interested to find a day and time in mid-semester. If interested, contact Julie at plaut {at} augsburg(.)edu.

Iowa Campus Compact will conduct monthly calls on topics related to community engagement and civic action plan implementation on campus and in specific settings. The schedules and topics for those meetings for the fall semester are below. Faculty, staff, students and community partners from member institutions are invited to participate. Registration links will be provided for each call to receive log in information. You can also propose additional topics by emailing eshields {at} iwcc(.)edu.
