Iowa Campus Compact is spearheading an innovative campaign to increase knowledge about the importance of the civic mission of higher education which is to education students for active citizenship while engaging with communities to strengthen them.

The Giving Voice to the Civic Mission campaign will be a platform to share stories, engage with the media and share a common message with parents, students, business leaders, and others.

We are sharing stories and information and asking colleges and universities to work together and speak with one voice about the importance of these initiatives. Learn more about how to get involved below.

Media inquiries can be directed to Emily Shields at eshields {at} iwcc(.)edu.

The Giving Voice Strategy aims to increase support for community engagement and higher education by bringing small stories together and creating a message about the value of the civic mission for students and communities.
