About

Iowa Campus Compact is a statewide association of college and university presidents providing leadership for the civic mission of higher education. We strengthen the capacity of our public, private, and two-year institution members to prepare all students to become engaged citizens.

IACC began its formation in 2003 when a group of faculty and staff committed to community and civic engagement from Iowa colleges and universities created Iowa Service-Learning Partners. As a result of this collaboration, presidents founded Iowa Campus Compact and joined a national movement to foster the integration of civic engagement and strengthen communities.
